Our flagship product is the Patagonian Red Shrimp (Pleoticus muelleri), caught in the cold waters near Antarctica. This shrimp is highly prized for its unique flavor—more like lobster than traditional shrimp—and its firm, sweet texture, perfect for grilling, sushi, sashimi, tempura, pasta, and more.

We have direct agreements with operators who own shrimp fleets and fish year-round in the cold Patagonian seas. With strong presence in Japan, we’re now working to expand exports to China, the United States, Europe, and other key markets.

CHARACTERISTICS AND PRESENTATION FORMATS

SAF offers Southern Shrimp (Patagonian Red Shrimp) (Pleoticus muelleri), caught in the Southwestern Atlantic, from Brazil to Argentina. Our shrimp is preserved via Frozen At Sea (FAS), ensuring maximum freshness and quality from sea to destination.

AVAILABLE PRESENTATIONS: - Whole with head and shell (HOSO) Sizes: • L1: 10–20 pieces per 2 kg • L2: 20–30 pieces per 2 kg • L3: 30–40 pieces per 2 kg - Head-on or headless As per commercial requirements. - Peeled and deveined (PED) • Bulk: 25 lb • Individually packed in 1 or 2 lb bags (for retail and foodservice, per contract)
